This compilation is a culmination of the best independent music found on Bandcamp so far discovered in 2012. Each track page contains a link to the musician's individual Bandcamp page and their respective features on the music review site Bandcamp's Best.
All songs featured on Best of Bandcamp's Best - Volume 2 have been individually curated by one person across a total of 19 albums/EPs/whathaveyou's.
The compilation is free to download. Though, I'll be honest. By free, I mean it in a "FREE BEER" sort of way. You'll be added to our newsletter, which should be released about once a month. I can assure you that the level of annoyance will be kept to a minimum, while the level of awesome turned up to a maximum.
The newsletter contains recent info about artists that have been featured on the site, and includes some other goodies for staying on the list (free download codes, discount codes for physical purchases, and other miscellaneousness).
The purpose of this compilation is to get the word out about the wonderful artists making their music available to YOU. So check out more of their work, which many of the artists have decided to give away for free.
Of course, it's more than recommended to head out to at least one of the artists you like off of the compilation and throw some money in their pockets. Even if the bands are allowing downloads of their music for free, Bandcamp makes it easier than ever to fill up their virtual tip jars.
Most of all, thanks for downloading, and be sure to visit bandcampsbest.com
